Geological Society Conference

Synopsis: The Engineering Group and Contaminated Land Group of the Geological Society invite you to attend a joint one day conference exploring the common ground between these two disciplines, including the benefits of combined investigation, model development and risk-based understanding of a site.  The day will include talks from industry-leading consultants, contractors, the British Geological Survey and academia. Topics covered will also include ground models vs conceptual site models, approaches to communicating risk, construction on landfill, earthworks material reuse and case studies.
