Thank you!
The 2nd RemSoc conference took place on Wednesday and was a great success, attended by over 100 members from all across the UK and beyond! Thank you to everyone who made the journey and got stuck in with the interactive workshops. It was great to see you all there – your thoughts, suggestions and feedback provided on the day are all gratefully appreciated. Thanks also to the ECP presenters for their informative presentations, to Simon & Stuart for hosting the excellent session on the influence of behaviours on project outcomes, to the organisers for all of their effort in putting the conference together, and to the staff at The Studio conference centre for taking such good care of us.
And of course the Framework for Remediation was finally launched! Initial feedback was positive but don’t forget that this is still a work in progress and we need your help to complete it and to improve it! Please go take a look and If anyone would like access to the Framework for Remediation who hasn’t already been invited to access it, please e-mail either Simon (simon.gomm@aecom.com) or Quentin (Quentin.Hulm@cornelsen.co.uk) but please note that access does require a Microsoft account, either one that you already have or one that you can create at the time.
We will feedback the outcomes of the conference in due course to those who attended and to wider members who couldn’t make it in the day. We will also post a gallery of photographs taken on the day and a copy of the ECP presentations. If you still have some feedback that you would like to share, either about the conference, the framework or the future direction of RemSoc, or if you would like to help with framework or one of the many working groups that were discussed, then please get in touch via e-mail (info@remsoc.org or comms@remsoc.org), telephone or social media, or use the feedback link of the Framework for Remediation SharePoint site.
Thanks again and hope to see you all again soon!
