Early Career Practitioners

From the outset RemSoc has identified that the active involvement of early career practitioners is a vital component in developing a successful society with longevity. When asked to contribute thoughts and ideas, via an online survey and during conference discussion, feedback has been continually informative and positive with a high level of interest. We now need to build and develop these initial topic areas into a formal set of deliverables and we need the ongoing assistance and support of our ECP’s to lead this working group.

October 2020 – Top 10 Tips for Remediation

Sarah Poulton (WSP), a member of the Society’s Steering Committee, gave a presentation at the Land Condition Early Careers Network event on Monday 14th September held jointly by IES and RemSoc. The presentation launched the Society’s “Top 10 Tips” for remediation practitioners, compiled by Sarah following interviews with the various Steering Committee members. At the event, these tips were used to stimulate discussions on best practice in remediation and to introduce attendees to the Framework for Remediation.   These are now available for all to see!  The Top 10 tips are shown below and the full Powerpoint presentation can be accessed using the link below the graphic.  Please take a look and let us know what you think!
